Alpha’s heat shrinkable D-subminiature FIT®-BOOTS are designed to provide a solution to the strain relief of a D sub connector. Strain relief is achieved by a heat shrinkable adhesive coated collar which protects cables when tensioned, and provides added sealing protection.

The boot is supplied as a single piece which snaps on to the back of the connector. There are no small parts and no tools required. Jack screws are provided to ensure easy access into each connector.

FIT®-"D" boots are flame retardant to UL94V2, and are available in four sizes, with 9 to 37 pin connectors.

FIT®-BOOTS replace metal molds and potting forms used on molded Harnesses. FIT®-BOOTS provide a strain relief and seal out contaminents. The boots are molded of a heat shrinkable, irradiated modified polyolefin compound with excellent physical and electrical properties.
